About The Colony
The Colony was named the “Sports Illustrated 50th Anniversary Sportstown of the Year” for Texas in 2003. Its name originates from the Peters Colony, an early Texas land grant from the 1840s.
To get to the airport To get to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport (DFW) from The Colony, take the Sam Rayburn Tollway W to TX-121 S; the drive is typically around 20-25 minutes.
